Lev Mass


Lev Mass has been a senior advisor to Startup Bridge since inception in 2017 and joined us in 2019 to be the CEO. He has been instrumental in the transition from non-profit to a sustainable organization. Lev has a deep history as a venture capital investor globally. He was the founder of Crux Capital, an early-stage fund investing in AI and marketplaces. He previously was a Partner at the leading early-stage fund XSeed Capital. Lev helped co-found Hortonworks, a leading big data company recognized by Gartner. Lev was also an executive at Yahoo! in numerous roles on the media, strategy and cloud teams. A committed supporter of those without a voice, he founded TEDxPaloAlto, the leading TED talks in Silicon Valley and co-chairs the Israel 3.0 Conference. He is on the board of the Palo Alto Jewish Community Center, the second largest in the US. Lev was recognized for his service to UNICEF by being named the youngest advisory board member. He is a founding board member of the Berkeley Skydeck Incubator and passionate about veteran and refugee issues. He loves to connect others to achieve their goals in business and social impact. His superpower is that he has a photographic memory. This is something that will be invaluable at Startup Bridge. Lev is based in the Bay Area with his wife Celia, twins Lior and Ari and dog Tomas.
